BEVERLY CENTER ART PROGRAM SHOWCASES NEW INSTALLATIONS BY ARTISTS LIZ LARNER, HARSH PATEL, AND GARY SIMMONS

 

LOS ANGELES, December 12, 2017 – Today, Beverly Center reveals the third phase of its ongoing art program with three new interior art installations created by contemporary Los Angeles artists, with a fourth to be unveiled in January 2018.

 

Curated by Jenelle Porter in association with the Hammer Museum, the following works are now on display:

  • Liz Larner: on, beneath, above, inside and beside us, 2017

Liz Larner makes sculpture and installations that expand the possibilities of space, color, materials, volume and perception with a range of material including textiles, papier-mâché, stainless steel and mineral rocks. For this project, the material and symbolic qualities of California minerals inspired Larner to transform Level 8 of Beverly Center into a mineral cave. Her installation encompasses images of minerals to signify that minerals are everywhere, including in clothes, scaffolding, floors, sunglasses, makeup, paint, food, and even computers.

 

  • Harsh Patel: 2D, 2017

Harsh Patel is a graphic designer whose work seeks to explore and expand the graphic design canon from one historically biased toward European designers to one that includes Eastern and Asian visual traditions. For Beverly Center’s Level 7, Patel’s project points to the ways both graphic design, in its diversity, and shopping centers can draw together people from varied cultures and classes. The “letters” Patel has constructed are a mix of elements such as graffiti, comics, letter fragments and obscure typefaces. Some of the forms are instantly recognizable, such as a scissor blade and handle; others are abstractions. Patel’s letterforms demonstrate that what constitutes letters and reading is being rapidly transformed by technology and globalization.

 

  • Gary Simmons: Posted Bills, 2017

Gary Simmons is a visual artist whose work explores the icons and stereotypes of American popular culture and history. At Beverly Center Simmons adopts the look of flypasted barricades by “papering” on the temporary construction walls on Level 6. Simmons mixes a range of found imagery from concerts to hot rod shows, which he sources on the Internet and then manipulates them to construct new, vibrant images. “It’s visual sampling, in the way that music has long sampled from what came before it,” Simmons says of this artwork. “They all kind of feed off of each other.”

 

Arriving in January 2018, Beverly Center will premiere a final temporary art installation:

 

  • Tanya Aguiñiga: Feminine Occult, 2018

Tanya Aguiñiga uses craft as a performative medium to generate dialogues about identity, culture and gender while creating community. Her work, installed on Level 8 of Beverly Center, will be a sculptural seating installation combining luxury materials with simple shapes including massive, oversized rope knots that are like drawings in space, frozen in an unfamiliar and seductive alchemy. Visitors will be able to sit, relax, and experience first-hand the artist’s delightful play of materials.

 

Beverly Center first debuted the art program in July 2016 as a way to activate construction areas during the ongoing renovation. Since the introduction of the program thirteen local artists and their works have been featured throughout the interior and exterior of the center.

 

Beverly Center is currently undergoing a $500 million reimagination that is transforming every aspect of the iconic fashion destination. The project is creating a bright, contemporary and highly accessible exterior and interior that engages the center with the surrounding neighborhood, produces an effortless arrival, parking and departure experience, and offers a perfectly curated retail lineup and superior destination dining. The center will be open throughout the renovation that is scheduled to be completed by holiday 2018.

Beverly Center is celebrating the holidays with special promotions, amenities and select retailer offerings. Guests will also enjoy new restaurant openings and a new valet.

Special Holiday Hours

  • Thanksgiving Day: Macy’s will be open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Nov. 23, along with other select stores (hours may vary).
  • Black Friday: Macy’s will open at 6 a.m. on Nov. 24. All other stores will re-open at 8 a.m. 
  • Seasonal: Beverly Center will have special holiday hours in effect from Friday, Nov. 24 through Monday, Jan. 1. Please visit beverlycenter.com/hours for details.

 

FREE Self-Parking

  • Guests can enjoy free self-parking all day on Black Friday, compliments of The Southern California BMW Centers.

  • Eggslut, home of the cult-favorite breakfast sandwich, opens in December.

Jeremy Fall流行美式堡餐店将在比弗利中心目提供新式摩登餐

 

洛杉(十月 xx, 2017) 2018年春季,Jeremy Fall餐厅和其商业合作伙伴Henry Costa将会在洛杉矶比弗利中心开张营业旗下的Easy’s餐厅。Easy’s汉堡店之前在中国城的Alvin Cailan单元服务食客,这次快闪店将也将是Easy’s汉堡快闪店自己的进步与革新。据悉,Easy’s汉堡店将会为比弗利中心顾客及食客提供包括早、午、晚餐在内的多元餐饮服务。该餐馆将会在比弗利中心6楼的入口处,除了35个席位的柜台空间,也会有一个可以容纳100人的露台席位区。

 

除了Easy’s经典的汉堡,菜单还会包括美食传统沙拉、烤芝士三明治、还有早餐饮食。Marquee菜单包含意大利干奶酪鸭、炸鸡、和蛋糕。 Easy’s也会提供一份经典鸡尾酒菜单,将会有水果果浆、甜筒。Easy’s也会在每个餐桌上提供一个View Master展示菜单上的食物照片。

关于JEREMY FALL

关于HENRY COSTA

 

Henry Costa在费城的郊区长大,他发现他对于美食的热情都是来自于他的母亲跟他的厨师亲戚的影响。Henry在亚特兰大的Pano’s&Paul做过学徒,GA也为他的美食之旅打开了眼界。从在没有听说过要吃什么的情况下吃山葵,到品尝嫩煎焦化黄油的鸡翅,这些美食旅程都成就了今天的他。最近,Henry跟Jeremy Fall联合建立了J. The Popular Burger Pop-Up from Restaurateur Jeremy Fall Transforms into a Modern Diner Amidst Beverly Center’s Reimagination

 

 

LOS ANGELES (October 26, 2017) – In Spring 2018, restaurateur Jeremy Fall and business partner Henry Costa of J. Fall Group will open Easy’s, a modern diner counter at Beverly Center in Los Angeles. A revival of the burger pop-up of the same name, which ran during Summer 2016 in Alvin Cailan’s Unit 120 incubator space in Chinatown, Easy’s will offer an expanded food, drink, and cocktail menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Located at the 6th floor entrance, the 35-seat counter space will also feature a 100-seat adjacent patio.

 

Alongside Easy’s signature burger, the menu will offer elevated versions of old school diner fare, from classic salads to melted sandwiches to all-day breakfast dishes. Marquee menu items will include Duck Parmesan and Fried Chicken N’ Funnel Cake. Easy’s will offer a full cocktail menu featuring playful ingredients like Fruit Roll-Ups syrup, as well as boozy snow cones. “The constant goal through each of my concepts is to redefine seemingly simple food, from breakfast to deli sandwiches. We strive for our diners to leave our restaurants with a new perspective on a dish they’ve had a thousand times,” says Owner Jeremy Fall. “I’ve always wanted to take on the burger and open a diner, but I wanted to do it right, because the burger market in LA is so saturated. The Easy’s pop-up last year was so successful that we started looking for a permanent location, and were lucky to find it within Beverly Center.”

 

This is the fourth restaurant for J. Fall Group; additional concepts in Los Angeles include Tinfoil in Highland Park and Nighthawk: Breakfast Bar in Venice, as well as the forthcoming Nighthawk: AM in Chicago, an all-day breakfast eatery opening in November 2017.

 

ABOUT JEREMY FALL  

 

Jeremy Fall made his professional debut at the age of 16 in 2006 as the marketing and promotions manager of the Avalon in Hollywood, producing both large- and small-scale events. In July 2014, Fall branched out on his own and launched Genesis, a pop-up concept that bridged the gap between bar and nightclub, hidden inside a vintage attic in Hollywood. Fall successfully transitioned from nightlife to food and beverage with his first restaurant, Nighthawk: Breakfast Bar, serving cocktails and elevated breakfast fare for dinner. Fall’s knack for coming up with innovative ways to build original concepts led to the creation of his second culinary endeavor, Tinfoil, a modern take on the bodega consisting of a liquor store in the front with a secret “speakeasy” deli in the back. Together with business partner Henry Costa, Fall created J. Fall Group, which will launch Nighthawk: AM, an all-day breakfast concept in Chicago in November 2017, as well as Easy’s, a reinterpretation of the classic diner opening in the Beverly Center in Spring 2018. As a Zagat 30 Under 30 honoree, 27-year-old Fall is only in the beginning phases of what promises to be a legendary career.

 

ABOUT HENRY COSTA


Henry Costa grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, where he first found a passion for food while helping his mother and other relatives cook for family gatherings. Henry’s role as an apprentice chef at Pano’s & Paul’s in Atlanta, GA opened his eyes to the culinary world. From unknowingly eating an entire tablespoon full of fresh wasabi for the first time to the initial bite of a perfectly sautéed skate wing in a beurre noisette, these culinary experiences turned him into the unrepentant foodie and restaurateur that he is today. Most recently, Henry partnered with restaurateur Jeremy Fall to create J. Fall Group, where Henry is an owner and managing member of concepts including Nighthawk: Breakfast Bar, Tinfoil, and the forthcoming Easy's in Los Angeles, and the group’s first Chicago concept, Nighthawk: AM, opening November 2017. Culinary Lineup as Part of its Complete Reimagination

LOS ANGELES, May 22, 2017 – Taubman Centers, Inc. (NYSE: TCO) today announced four new restaurants will join Beverly Center’s culinary lineup as part of the shopping and dining destination’s $500 million reimagination. The restaurants -- Cal Mare, Eggslut, FARMHOUSE and Yardbird -- will be located on Level 1 and all are anticipated to open by the end of 2018. More award-winning, exciting concepts will be announced this year.

 

“We have always focused on food as a key component of Beverly Center’s renovation,” said Taubman’s Chief Operating Officer William Taubman. “In doing so, we have curated a collection of point-of-difference restaurants offering a variety of different cuisine and price points from which to choose. The experience will be unlike anything offered in the market today.”

 

Full-Service Restaurants:

 

Cal Mare by Chef Michael Mina
A brand new 8,200 square foot concept from James Beard Award-winning, Michelin-starred Chef Michael Mina, Cal Mare is a celebration of coastal Italian cuisine with Mediterranean and Californian influences. Conceived along with chef partner Adam Sobel, the menu will focus on seafood for satiating but light and healthy Italian meals. The restaurant’s design will evoke the vibrant seaside elegance of Italy’s Amalfi Coast with a nod to its contemporary southern California setting.

 

“It’s an honor to partner with Adam Sobel for Cal Mare at Beverly Center, as well as so many other chefs that will be lending their talents to The Street, A Michael Mina Social House, that we announced last year,” said Chef Mina. “I am incredibly excited to share our celebration of global cuisines and our truly dynamic spaces with the Los Angeles community.”

 

Located on Level 8, The Street will offer a variety of cuisine from Chef Mina and approximately 15 to 18 other chefs. The food will be served from hawker stations reminiscent of the great bazaars of the world. The venue’s indoor seating and outdoor dining terrace offer incredible views of the Hollywood Hills and downtown Los Angeles.

 

FARMHOUSE by Chef Laurent Halasz
FARMHOUSE celebrates California’s abundance of bounty from local farms, markets, dairies and purveyors, situated within a new informal dining experience at the revitalized Beverly Center. The menu will focus on a curation of four to six key ingredients per season that are at their peak freshness with rotating sharable dishes including vegetables, salads, meats, fishes, pizza and pastas, simply cooked in a wood-fired oven and wood grill. The 7,000 square foot space will be reminiscent of a modern California farmhouse with a relaxed feel, fire place, open kitchen and large bar.

 

FARMHOUSE is the brainchild of Laurent Halasz, who moved to Southern California from the South of France close to a decade ago, bringing with him a lifelong respect for quality ingredients and simple flavors.

 

Yardbird Southern Table & Bar by Chef John Kunkel

Yardbird will be a 6,000 square foot house of worship to farm-fresh ingredients, classic Southern cooking, culture and hospitality. Helmed by award-winning restaurateur John Kunkel, the original location was recognized by the James Beard Foundation as “Best New Restaurant” and was named among “America’s Best New Restaurants” by Bon Appétit. A modern take on Southern comfort means shared plates and critically acclaimed fried chicken, to name a few of the restaurants specialties. A crafted cocktail program and extensive bourbon menu round out Yardbird’s hospitable atmosphere that includes an outdoor patio. Los Angeles will be the third city for this concept that also has locations in Miami Beach and Las Vegas.

Eggslut is a chef driven, gourmet food concept founded in 2011. It’s inspired by a true love for eggs. The menu is a balance of comfort and innovation, celebrating food that appeals to both a novice and extreme foodie through classic comfort fare, all- encompassing its key ingredient -- eggs. No longer just a breakfast staple, Eggslut makes eggs appetizing all day, every day. The restaurant’s focus is on the quality and taste of its food, consistent presentation and great customer service.

 

Eggslut began as a food truck that roamed the streets of Los Angeles, eventually turning into a food stall in downtown L.A. Although the food truck has since retired, Eggslut has grown to multiple stores across Los Angeles and even in Las Vegas.

展示Lisa Anne Auerbach, Ed Fella, Barbara Kruger 及 Anthony Lepore 四位艺术家新作
洛杉矶2017年4月19日讯 — 洛杉矶比弗利中心近日公布了其艺术展览项目的第二阶段,展出由四
位洛杉矶现代艺术家设计的大型创新艺术新作。此次展览由Jenelle Porter策展,并联手哈默博物
馆(Hammer Museum)共同推出。正在展出中的作品包括:


Lisa Anne Auerbach:罢工,2017
Lisa Anne Auerbach 的艺术作品因擅用幽默和双关语来颠覆传统的手工艺制作和DIY理念
而在众多媒体间闻名。她为比弗利中心所创作的富有活力的壁纸位于比弗利中心六层。壁
纸由上百种毛衣图样组成,包括安全锥,汽车,自行车以及女权主义运动等等,极富创造
性。在传统的费尔岛图样中,艺术家还融合了政治口号,讽刺性评论及狡黠符号。

 

Ed Fella:边 & 角 & 碎片 & 细节,2017
Ed Fella 被称作“当代手绘排版大师”。他六十年来致力于平面设计、语言和信息,成就
无与伦比。Fella为比弗利中心的施工围障打造了一个高达三层的作品。六层展出的设计是
从海报、公告和其他文宣资料截取的文字拼凑而成的“书法作品”。七层作品则是将他的
画作复印拼贴而成。该作品通过使用复印机转换艺术作品的尺寸和清晰度制成。而八层上
的“徽章”是将他的排版作品及画作截取拼凑而成。

 

Barbara Kruger: 无题(金钱能否买来爱?),2017
作为当代艺术最重要的人物之一,Barbara Kruger 独特的艺术形式往往将黑白照片与挑衅
的文字相结合。有些作品仅使用巨大的大写字母,以表达文字与图片具有同等的说服力。
Kruger为比弗利中心外部创作的新作提出了“金钱能否买来爱?”这一严肃问题。该作品
位于Beverly 大道和La Cienega 大道的交界处。这个高达60英尺的横幅引发了我们对于权
力及消费本质的思考。

 

Anthony Lepore:四条路的延伸,2017
从2012年开始,Anthony Lepore 在洛杉矶一家由他的意大利移民祖父于1971年建造的泳
装制造厂里开始了他的摄影创作。在制造厂的工作为Lepore提供了许多灵感,因为他在他
的照片中多次展现了泳衣的残留织物、切割工具、缝纫机部件甚至制造厂里的工人。他的
摄影作品在比弗利中心七层的施工围障上展出。作品通过在窗框内展示布料、人体以及工
厂的景象,将观众的视野集中到比弗利中心的未来蓝图,并巧妙地将艺术家自己的工作环
境融入其中。

 

 

Julian Hoeber: 艺术家及模特,2016
Hoeber 是一位典型的通过大量媒介来表述心理、情感和故事的艺术家 。他为比弗利中心
专门创作了一项大规模的装置艺术,并已于十月展出。他的作品是一个艺术休息厅,休息
厅带有一面弯曲广告牌,仿佛一位女士将自己的脸庞倚在玻璃上。其外墙部分被休息厅的
入口中断,看起来好似游客们是从女士脸部进入一样。后面则布置有一个雕刻的长椅以及
花纹繁复的地面,共同形成了一个适合歇息的独特空间。

New interior and exterior installations continue the large-scale art program launched in July as part of the center’s ongoing reimagination

 

LOS ANGELES, September 9, 2016 – As part of Beverly Center’s ongoing art program, new exterior artwork and interior sculptural seating will be installed this month and next [Kimmel going up end of September; Hoeber, mid-October] at the Center as part of its continued reimagination. The projects are organized by Jenelle Porter, in association with the Hammer Museum.

 

“The addition of large-scale exterior artworks will link inside and out, engaging and inviting both those who shop at Beverly Center and those passing by,” said Porter. “The interior artworks will give visitors a chance to interact with art in nonconventional ways—that is, the sculptural installations invite you to sit down.”

 

The following works will debut this month and next:

 

  • Julian Hoeber: Artists and Models, 2016

Hoeber, who typically uses a wide range of media to explore psychology, emotion and narrative, will create a large-scale installation for Beverly Center, debuting in October. Hoeber’s work is a kind of seating pavilion composed of a curved billboard with an image of a woman’s face seemingly pressed against the glass. The façade wall is interrupted by a doorway that allows visitors to metaphorically enter the face, behind which is a sculptural bench and intricate floor that, together, form a distinctive space to relax in.

 

  • Karen Kimmel: Stay, 2016

An artist and designer, Karen Kimmel has created a temporary sculptural installation, exclusive to Beverly Center, that incorporates usable seating for customers in the form of benches, platforms, and stools whose shapes derive from Kimmel’s visual vocabulary of abstracted, biomorphic forms. The sculptures offer both form and function, cleverly providing a place for shoppers to rest and relax.

 

  • Sharon Lockhart: Stanley “Tom” Durrell, Tinsmith, 2008

An accomplished filmmaker and photographer, Lockhart’s Stanley “Tom” Durrell, Tinsmith monumentalizes a worker’s lunchbox and its contents. The lunchbox becomes a kind of portrait of its owner, a tinsmith at Maine's Bath Iron Works shipyard. The exterior work is 60 feet high by 80 feet wide and located on the corner of Beverly and San Vicente Boulevards.

 

  • Geoff McFetridge: Girl Lifting Skirt 2, 2011

A graphic designer and artist who has created works for international brands, Hollywood films and local shops, McFetridge’s Girl Lifting Skirt 2 commands the corner of La Cienega and Third Street. At 70 feet tall, the mischievous image is slyly provocative, and evokes the open and civic spirit of Beverly Center’s reimagining—itself, a kind of lifting of skirts. 

 

  • Catherine Opie: Untitled (Beach Day #2, 2013 and Hands on Boards, 2016) 

Known for her evocative photographs of contemporary America, Opie’s massive exterior work brings the beach to the Center. On the large exterior scrim, which spans an impressive 160 by 100 feet on Beverly Boulevard, Opie’s blurred image of figures on a beach provides an arresting counterpoint to the teeming visual landscape of Los Angeles. Directly under the scrim, along the pedestrian walkway, Opie premieres new photographs, shot at local beaches, hands on surfboards.

 

Beverly Center is currently undergoing a $500 million renovation that will transform every aspect of the iconic fashion destination. The project includes creating a bright, contemporary and highly accessible exterior and interior that engages the center with the surrounding neighborhood, producing an effortless arrival, parking and departure experience, and offering a perfectly curated retail lineup and superior destination dining. The center will be open throughout the renovation that is scheduled to be completed by holiday 2018.

Taubman Unveils Plans for a $500 Million Re-Imagination of the Iconic Beverly Center
Every aspect of the center to be transformed by holiday 2018

 

LOS ANGELES, March 7, 2016 – Taubman Centers, Inc. (NYSE: TCO) is embarking on a $500 million re-imagination of Beverly Center this month that will transform every aspect of the iconic fashion destination. The details were revealed this evening at an event featuring Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Taubman Chairman, CEO and President Robert Taubman, Chief Operating Officer William Taubman and other special guests.

 

Critical focus areas for the project include creating a bright, contemporary and highly accessible exterior and interior that engages the center with the surrounding neighborhood, producing an effortless arrival, parking and departure experience, and offering a perfectly curated retail lineup and superior destination dining. Beverly Center and its tenants will be open during construction which is scheduled to be completed by the 2018 holiday season.

 

“In re-envisioning Beverly Center, we are looking to create LA’s signature urban shopping and dining experience, as well as an exciting, pedestrian-friendly anchor to one of the most creative and diverse neighborhoods in the world,” said Robert Taubman. “The center is a key asset in our portfolio, and after renovation we believe it will become one of the top ten retail centers in the nation.”

 

“The Beverly Center holds a special place in LA’s imagination — it’s where an entire generation of Angelenos went on first dates, bought prom dresses and met up with friends on weekends,” said Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. “Reimagining it for the 21st century is a tremendous investment in making those timeless experiences possible for the next generation of Angelenos. These plans capture the spirit of ambition and innovation that is driving our city’s economic resurgence.”
Los Angeles Councilmember Paul Koretz, Council District 5, added, “I am pleased to be working with the Taubmans to bring to our community a beautifully renovated and updated shopping experience at the iconic Beverly Center. Together, we are bringing a significant investment, good jobs, renewed economic activity and a neighborhood-sensitive project to
Council District 5.”

 

Modern, Fresh Design

 

The design architect for the renovation of the 886,000 sq. ft. center is Studio Fuksas of Rome, Italy. Visionaries Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, known for their distinctive designs, are responsible for numerous high-profile projects around the world, including Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (Guangdong, China), Ferrari Operational Headquarters and Research Center (Maranello, Italy), CBD Cultural Center (Beijing, China), New National Archives of France (Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, France) and many other exceptional venues.

 

Taubman selected Studio Fuksas to transform Beverly Center into a great urban space that meets the aspirations of Angelenos and suits the world class city it calls home. Massimiliano Fuksas had this to say about architecture: “Contrary to common belief, music should be observed in order to appreciate its true essence, while architecture should be felt.”

 

Upon completion, Beverly Center’s shoppers and diners will feel its new personality through significant changes that include:

  • Adding a continuous ribbon of new skylights that will bathe the entire center’s elegant and contoured floor openings and curves in natural light. 
  • A shimmering new exterior that incorporates a perforated steel façade and will beautifully capture light during all parts of the day. 
  • A fresh new streetscape that combines modern architecture and drought-resistant greenery for a pleasant walking experience.
  • A row of street-level restaurants that open the center to the vibrancy of West Third Street and embrace a pedestrian-oriented environment.
  • An additional valet off West Third Street to provide quick access to the street-level restaurants and retail.
  • A state-of-the-art smart parking system to dramatically improve the center’s arrival and departure experience. 
  • An eighth level multi-concept gourmet food hall - THE STREET - by Chef Michael Mina.
  • Spectacular panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills and downtown Los Angeles from THE STREET, as well as from the center’s sixth floor.
  • The continual evolution of the merchandise mix combining luxury, contemporary and fast fashion retailers for an unparalleled shopping experience.
  • A flexible Center Court featuring an impressive 20’ w x 35’ h LED screen, plenty of places to sit, relax and plug in, and the ability to host events, exhibitions and installations.

 

Superior Retail & Dining

 

Beverly Center for decades has been an iconic fashion destination regularly shopped by locals, international visitors and those who influence celebrity style and popular culture through their work in the entertainment industry. With this renovation, Beverly Center will remain well positioned to lead the city to its fashion future while connecting with these important core customers.

 

The center will continue to be anchored by Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s, and will have more than 100 of the world’s most coveted brands, including Apple, Burberry, COS, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Foot Locker, Gucci, H&M, Henri Bendel, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Maje, Montblanc, OMEGA, Prada, Saint Laurent, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sandro, Tiffany & Co., Traffic, Uniqlo, Versace, XXI Forever and Z Zegna. Additions to the retail lineup will be announced over the course of the project.

 

In addition to great retail, an estimated ten dining destinations will be developed, including two by Michelin starred, James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Mina. His first is a multi-concept gourmet food hall called THE STREET. Located on the center’s eighth floor dining terrace, THE STREET will serve an impressive array of cuisines from hawker stations reminiscent of great bazaars from around the world. The hallmark of the experience will be offerings from both
Chef Mina and approximately 15-18 visiting chefs for an ever-changing culinary experience.

 

“THE STREET will feature incredibly diverse cuisine inspired by the local community and the idea of bringing people together through the universal language of great food,” said Chef Mina. “The fare will be healthy, the atmosphere casual and the overall experience will be like no other in LA.”

 

Part of the uniqueness of THE STREET will be its sweeping views of downtown Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills that will provide a distinctly LA experience.

 

The center’s other new chef-driven and fast-casual restaurants, as well as Mina’s second concept, will be announced in the coming months.

 

A Reflection of its City

 

Along with shopping and dining, Beverly Center aims to provide a special place for individuals to gather to create, become inspired or simply connect with others. This will be done through special events and programs.

比弗利中心本次覆盖88.6 万平方英尺的翻新计划将由来自意大利罗马的福克萨斯建筑设计工作室
设计。独具远见卓识并以独特设计闻名的马希米拉诺-福克萨斯 和多利亚娜-福克萨斯曾为世界各
地的知名工程挥笔,其中包括:深圳宝安国际机场(中国广东省)、法拉利营运总部和研究中心

Does Beverly Center have elevators? Where are they located?

We feature an Express elevator in our Grand Valet that takes you directly to Level 7 of the center without waiting.  To access valet parking, enter the center from La Cienega or Beverly Boulevard entrances.

Elevators can be accessed in both La Cienega entrance valet lots and throughout our self park levels.  In the center, elevators are located near Macy's and Bloomingale's and in Center Court behind the Piazza Lounge Restaurant on Level 6.

Guest Service Ambassadors Posted Jan 9th

Beverly Center, located in Los Angeles, California, is currently seeking part time Guest Service Ambassadors to assist shoppers throughout the shopping center. The primary goal of the position is to ensure that all guests visiting Beverly Center receive a high level of quality service that is expected from a top tier center. The ideal applicant will possess a thorough knowledge of Los Angeles and the surrounding areas, as well as upcoming events, and will be able to handle all guest inquiries.

 

Responsibilities:

• Interact with and provide directional information to guests

• Greet customers in a friendly manner
• Provide information about stores within the shopping center including product information
• Provide information concerning mall events and activities
• Provide information regarding local attractions, transportation and dining
• Assist with internal mall marketing promotions
• Troubleshoot and diffuse guest issues
• Participate in training and education programs
• Provide Guest Service Manager with observations, guest comments, and recommendations
• Continually exceed guest expectations

Self Parking
To access, enter on La Cienega, Beverly or San Vicente blvds.

Rates are:
$1.00 per hour for the first 4 hours
$2.00 each additional hour
$10.00 maximum

Self parking is open 24 hours but no overnight parking is allowed. Handicapped parking is available in self parking at regular self park rates and in Valet at handicap parking rates.

Valet Parking 

3rd Street Valet:

To access, enter from 3rd Street.

 

Grand Valet:

To access, enter from La Cienega or Beverly Blvds.

 

Rates are:
$10.00 for the first 3 hours 
$2.00 each additional 30 min. 
$20.00 maximum

 

Monday - Thursday:  10:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Friday - Saturday:  10:00 AM to Midnight

Sunday:  11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
